Yes, I dump all my money into a car after working my ass off doing 240+ hours a month for a year and a half up north and still maintaining part time study commitments at TAFE and when that was all said and done I still had to take out a minimal loan for the extra I needed to get it on the road... but don't worry - you know my financial position inside and out to judge and "fix" a comment - so what else do you know better than I do?

I set a goal to achieve and instead of whinging and crying and being a tosspot I went out to achieve it, I don't expect something from nothing, I pay my dues and I was lucky enough to have the support I needed when I needed it. Is a portion of the car on a loan basis, yes. It was a bittersweet moment though seeing all my savings go from the amount they were to 0, but I've never been the kid who doesn't appreciate what he has or not help someone out, that is why I was fortunate enough to have the blessing from my parents to buy the car, and why I didn't mind sacrificing going out each weekend and shit to go and put aside as much as possible to obtain the vehicle. Anyway, the Supra in my eyes is the GT-R/Skyline rival from Toyota. I can appreciate a 34R, and the 33R and 32R, but I didn't want anything less than 2000 and buying a decent example of a 34R would set me back far more than buying the car I have always wanted.

Thanks mate, I would have picked option B but got shafted at work so went back to Uni. Had offers on some houses but after that all occured had to take a couple steps back and re-assess. Going back for 3 years I figured fuck it, if one pops up I may as well buy it... one popped up, I bought it, I was fortunate the circumstances were in my favour and it's now sitting in my possession.
