Hi guys i'm Jeff and this is my GTR. Had it since last October and have slowly tinkered with it and changed a few things to get it to a point where i am happy with it.
First up i had it booked in for a tune after having had it for three weeks, on the way there it started making a weird flapping noise. Turned out to be a blown gasket between the turbo and manifold. Decided to take the turbos out and do it with the help of a mate. Worst idea ever, managed to snap almost every stud possible and ended up taking a week to change a $40 gasket.

Hopefully have the new injectors in and tuned within the next month and then get on to using the car for what it was made for.

Is this the old silver machine with the Greddy brakes and the t40z? Looks mad.

Nice, 12.7 is nothing to sneeze at.

Fark.. that is a clean 32!

I feel your pain in regard to the twin turbo removal as i had to use a wide array of different shaped spanners to get all my gear off, its near impossible unless you have a decent array of tools.

Im abit confused with the power figures, was 390hp a de-tune due to the injectors being maxed out? i ran a 12.1 with 398hp and a 1.8sec 60ft, i am not sure where your going wrong..

I agree, something is not quite rite here, only 179km/h. Something isnt going rite at the top end of the track. Should have a much higher trap speed with those power figures.

Irrispective this is one nice looking 32R man, i would be proud to own this !

Looks mint...

I would be looking at potential issues as that graph looks very lazy and low power for GT-SS turbos

Nice looking car, when are we going to see it out on the track?
Good mate that did that gasket replacement for you hey, while you sat there getting pissed, rounding bolts and yelling abuse.

What plans do you have for the beast in the future?

Yeah not something i would be keen to do again, although i have since removed the intake plenum and all hicas gear. Would be quite handy to have another joint in my arm.

Yeah the 390 was a de-tune as it was hitting 100% duty cycle. Ended up getting the Sard 800's as it was occasionally still hitting 100% cycle on the street.

Yeah that was mine from back when PKR existed. Ended up selling it coz it got impounded and i lost my licence. It's now painted camo :(

Yeah i agree, after the tune the car felt a lot slower and seemed to lack any excitment. Power is due to injectors being maxed out.

Nah, i'm the first proper owner of this car in WA. Was built by Gavin Wood in Queensland.

Looks good Jeff :)

Basically what Ant1 has said. Just want to get it tuned and get it to the track to start using it. Although paint may need a tidy up soon.

Quick Update.

Had it tuned by ALLSTAR a couple of weeks ago.
Made 419hp with the new injectors. Although the power is not huge the car is much better to drive now. Hard to explain but it just feels smooth. Also boost seems to come on earlier.
Just waiting on a copy of my Dyno Graph as the printer was broken...

Fitted new Whiteline swaybars front and rear, and Got WA Suspensions to give it a wheel allignment.
Apparently it looks as if my car has had a hard knock to the left hand side coz the allignments are way out.
Talked to the guy at the counter who was very helpful and suggested that i start with Front Castor Rods, Front Camber Arms, Rear Upper Camber Arms and Rear Toe Rods.
Is there anything else i should look at?

Also i can't find any 'Jap' Adjustable camber arms. Only fixed ones like Cusco etc. Any one using either have any opinions?

And went to Barbagallo for my first No Limits night. Only did the short track and didn't get a chance to go with an instructor. My first session started with a laughable 1.12 fastest lap and a small venture into the sand that i was able to drive out of.

Finished with a 59.4 on my last session, which i was very happy with. Although there is definitely a lot of improvement to be made as i struggled with a few of the lines. Something i assume an instructor will be able to help me with next time.

Seen this around a few times and it looks really nice mate.

Just wondering, have you got a set of aftermarket cams in this? Sounded like the engine note had a bit of a grumble to it that's all.
