West of mall - Murray/Hay/Wellington preferred.
Doesnt need to be anything flash, its only for one night. Secure parking is a must.
Anyone got any tips?

I have never ever looked into a hotel in the city, hence the question. Burswood is the limit of my hotels in Perth
PS Quest is the wrong side of the railway - needs to be city not nb.

Rydges isnt bad, nice room with parking for under $200 a few weeks ago. Close to everything.
There is another one just across the road from moon & sixpence, forget the name but its pretty good as well.

This is the one I meant, mate who flies in to do catering contracts used to stay there all the time. Perfect location for a night on the piss on murray st, kebab or fast eddies, and collapse in lobby. *
* i have not done this for at least 3 years

Lastminute.com. Check out the secret Hotel deals. Don't know where it is you're staying, except for a brief location, list of services, and available parking. Sometimes get decent rooms for cheap cheap. Have stayed 2 nights at mantra on Murray for 50 a night.

holiday inn accross the road is pretty nice too, but I have just heard they have closed the uber sweet basement pool :( Both have valet secure parking available. The breakfast at the holiday inn is fkn sweet as well

Crown Plaza is nice. Only place ive stayed in Perth to be honest...
