Started playing it. It's pretty fucking awesome. You need to ration your weapons at the start, use them and they break.

Any time.

Just been hammering this for a bit. There is so much shit to do. Zombies can die all sorts of ways, you can drive cars, cut them up, create new weapons (like Dead Rising). You choose a tech tree, whether you want to be able to pick locks and your sustainability, have huge weapons damage, or be able to throw shit from a far with more damage. You can combined all three if you want.

You can also attack a specific body part and render them unable to use it. There are big Thug Zombies that take some damage to kill, but hit them with a shovel a few times in the arms and you can break their bones, then they're fuck all.

Gameplay is awesome. A little glitchy here and there, especially when it tries to rego other players. No lobbies need to be joined, it can indicate people who are playing who are up to where you are in the game. But you can make private games, 4 player co-op etc.

All in all, so far so good. Being able to roam where you want is good, but kicking the shit out of zombies when the are down is the best bit.

Been playing this a little on the weekend but the gameplay isn't that smooth for me. I am playing on my lappy with all the settings turned down.

GT330M GFX card, 8gb ram, i7-720 processor, should be able to handle it i would've thought. Unless its because I'm running at 1080p

Enjoying the shit out of this. It's a whole lot better when you're with mates. But also sucks since the city is quite difficult in forever alone mode... Easily the best $32 I've spent on gaming in a while. Hell, full price would've been good value for the amount of fun.

Great game with co-op mode for sure had one bloke for a good few hours and we smashed the quests !

Had a AK47 and shit then fuckin dead island crashes and wouldnt you know lost the AK47 next time i load :(

Download Dead Island Helper, has some graphics tweaks that are quite useful esp FOV

Yeah I finished it. Was a bit of a let down in the end, too easy to kill the last guy.

Last guys a chump ive taken him out so many times with lvl 1 homerun baseball bat it isnt funny !

Knocked him over the big ledge and never for him to return :p

ATM just looking for gold weapons mostly at lvl 60........

Yeah I finished and it got instantly boring for me. Moved on straight away to Deus Ex

Join my games 'Sportivoman' on dead island and we'll get my mates included and get you all the bad arse weapons and make it fun again for you !

Buy the ive been voted in the top 5 to play the game too :)
