Red Face Runny Nose 2 Chilli Burger Challenge - Novembar Dianella WARNING

As some of you may remember me and a mate like to try kill each other with chili and after reading this article in the Sunday Times http://www.perthnow.com.au/lifestyle/its-man-vs-burger-in-these-meal-deals/story-e6frg3pu-1226114267145 we knew what we had to do.

So we went down to Novembars on Monday fairly confident, 2L of milk in hand, signed the waiver and read the rules.

1. You must eat the garnish first - The garnish is 1 complete ghost chili, the hottest chili in the world.
2. You must eat the entire burger and contents within 10 minutes
3, You must move a hard boiled egg from one bowl across your plate to another using chopsticks

Then gave it a crack. 7 or so people out of the 178 who have tried it have completed the challenge ever!

Ate the chili, wasn't as bad as I thought, cut the burger in half and started hoeing into it. FUCK ME it was insane my whole body was shaking, I lost feeling in my hands and I drank 1.5L of milk trying not to die. Anyway I ended up getting through half in extreme pain.

I'm sure some of you are thinking ok I might give it a go.... eating it wasn't the bad part. Went home, went to sleep woke up at 1am with SEVERE stomach cramps, my mate was messaging me saying he was throwing up everywhere. I laid in bed dying, by 3am I had to spew and only threw up the ghost chilli chewed but not digested. From 3am to 5am I considered greatly checking myself into hospital as I had to sit in my bed and not move. I was familiar with my entire urinary tract as the whole thing was burning from tip to whatever it joins to in your stomach (I now know how blaa feels daily). I ended up working 1 hour on Tuesday and slept in pain all day.

I would consider myself a good chili consumer but I have never felt such severe burn in my arse ever - again blaaa


So my advice to you is don't try it, eat one of the other delicious burgers there. It should actually be illegal!

but this one sounds pretty brutal. sure enough like eating it and having a burning mouth for a while i can handle.

but severe stomach cramps/aches/having to sit on the toilet every 5 minutes i cant handle haha

haha novembars rocks, i would like to try the first red face runny nose burger, which isnt AS hot but having stomach ulcers at the moment it probably isnt a good idea. There have been cases of the ambos being called because of the RFRN 2 which is totally amusing, but fuck it must be harsh.

Went to Novembars today with my brother, such epic stuff. Only see these things on tv shows and shit.

The guy, Minh I think his name is, reckons I could put away that Fat boy burger in 5 minutes. I looked at how big it is, there's no way I could do it.

The burgers are fucking tasty, so if you get a chance, head down and buy a burger.

Had lunch there today with the Mrs. Had the Red Face Runny Nose 2 Burger and i didnt even raise a sweat. Dude lost his shit, claimed he used the wrong beef pattie and that the peppers must have lost there heat in the fridge.






PFFFT, yeah right, that didn't fucking happen. Had the cheese burger, was pretty bloody good. Dude was hell friendly. Buns were ok but Vastese buns would be sweet.

^^ i used to deliver drugs to the chemist next door everyday, then one day this cafe/lunch bar opened up. decided to go in their.( easily 3-4 years ago. before he had all these burgers out.) saw the triple cheese burger and ordered, he was like u sure? im like yeah. mowed it no probs, dude goes "tomorow ill make bigger one." next day he made a bigger one with double bacon egg n cheese n stuff. mowed that easy too. then he said " im going to name the fat boy burger after you". he even had pic of me before n after with a 1.25 litre coke finished on his front window. look like things have got out of hand haha. might go down their n say hi haha.

So one of my mates had a bunch of 'Carolina reapers'. Worlds hottest Chilli apparently. Was at The Raffles for dinner and drinks last night and he brought one along. It smelt good, I wiped the back of a spoon across it and put the spoon in my mouth. There was no heat, just a feeling of 1000 bees stinging my tongue and roof of my mouth. I think swallowing was the worst part, the sting just went down the back of my throat. There is no way anyone could eat one of these things. Beer didn't help, neither did ice cream, neither did water. Just had to ride it out for 20 minutes.
