Im chasing a set of 16x8 Sunraysia Rims for my rodeo, ive called a couple of places and they want $115 bucks a wheel, is that expensive or is that what i should be expecting to pay?
Last time i checked they were $50 bucks a wheel.

Any recommendations on best place to buy or pick up a second hand set?

fucking collie markup! haha

Do you even make anything off that though or is it special AL price? seams rather cheap

Is it usually more for black also?

About a month ago i was looking at getting some 15x8 steely rims....
Nearly brought the Gecko's as they were the cheapest but alot of the tyre shops won't touch them as apparently they are too hard to balance?!
Not sure how true that is but another thing to consider is the load rating

I couldn't get the Sunny's but got the King rims...apparently they are very good to balance and have a stronger load rating (not that it will matter on a Sierra)
The white 15x8 King rims were $70ea while the black ones were $85ea (i think the Black Sunny's were like $95ea)

And yes...believe it or not, for some stupid reason you do pay more for the black. I wanted black steely's and i even thought about powdercoating them but at $40 per tyre it wasn't viable or smart.

Gecko's are the same price for white or black but had to wait a week to get them so decided to just pay $60 extra and got the black King rims with Maxxis Bighorns

Mine were a bitch to balance but tyre fitter blamed the mfg muds for that, they recommended the Kings over CSA

which tyre shop did you speak to?
whats the load rating on the king wheels?

as danwa said, generally its the tyre that causes balance issues

bfg muds are the worst to balance they said, followed closely by bighorns

bfg always been according to most tyre shops "worst for balancing, best for mileage"

Sorry mate...can't remember as i rang like 20 shops and the guy that could get the Gecko's told me that

Anyway....i didn't really want to wait or get white rims so went with the black King rims
Im not too sure what the load rating is but i didn't really care as the Sierra only weighs 900kg max :p hahaha
Im not really even sure if it's just a bunch of bull but i though id mention it incase it was going on a Patrol or Cruiser that weighs 2-3 tonnes
