Another S13 shitter with USDM RB20

Ok guys Ive been on the forum for awhile but never had any pics of my cars up so I thought Id throw some up of my current car. Its been off the road for a couple years so Its been a good feeling to get it out on the road again and start doing some Km's (only done about 150km on it atm).

Its all pretty standard apart from the USDM rb20 conversion. The car itself is all fairly stock but Ive tried to keep it neat and done some basic suspension/brake mods, the motors pretty stock apart from the turbo change, it makes just under 300bhp at 4000rpm with stock injectors. Hoping for a little more once Ive run it in and can go for some more revs/boost (I put some fresh bearings and rings in before it went into the car). If all goes well I'm hoping to go for some bigger squirters after that.

Nah dude it runs pwr steer, that was an early pic when we just started the motor for the first time.. wasnt running any of the ancillaries.

Im running it in bud, the 'power figure' was what it made only running it up to just over 4k.. hasnt seen anything over that yet.

Don't want to be the bearer of bad news but you've put the engine in incorrectly, the turbo is on the wrong side of the bay

Dude as an importer surely you have seen these US domestic market rb20 motors.. they run the hot and cold sides back the front to suit the left hand steering column and what not.

After a trip to welshpool this morning the car is now fully engineered, pollution tested and registered as a 3ltr single turbo 2JZ S13 with the cage..(pretty much as is in the pics above).

Pretty stoked to finally get there.

The car made 670whp @ 24psi last time it was on the dyno, ran 280.7kmhr at Racewars this year and then ran a fairly sad 11.0 @139.9mph at the plex last week.

Its basically a street car/racewars toy these days and looking over this thread its cool to see how long its been with me now. Its a massive head ache coming down from the pilbara and pulling huge hours to get things done on the car in short time frames these days but weekends like the one just gone in albany seem to make it worth while.

Updates since the last post.

Bottom end now consisting of 87mm 9.0:1 CP pistons/spool I beam drag rods with .25" pins/BPP billet main caps/ARP fixings/OEM crank.
Top end is now Camtech 272/274 cams/shimless buckets/ARP 625 studs/OEM HG.
Added an NX express dry fog single nozzle set up and changed management to Haltech Elite.

Car makes around 750whp @ 27psi and 800whp at the same boost with a 50 shot of NOS.
