The boss is taking a few of us out tomorrow and asked me to look for a joint in Subi for late lunch meal and lots of drinks afterwoods. It doesn't necessarily have to be the same joint but close by would be good.

Anyone know of any?

Cheers

Strip club would be better for the afterwoods

Funtastico on Rokeby for lunch then over to the Subiaco Hotel for drinks, or just start at the Subi so you don't have to walk (not far though).

I've been to the Sicilian (http://www.siciliansubiaco.com.au/) along Hay Street - food was great, service was a bit shit if you weren't buying alcoholic drinks. I had to ask 2 or 3 times for a jug of water (as I was driving), in the end I had to physically go up to the counter and ask for one then and there - those ordering alcohol were fine though, which should be fine for you.

Really depends what sort of food you're after though.

Up the road is the Subi Hotel - never been there, others could probably share their experience.

Gavino's

Been a while/few years since i worked in subi but we used to go for lunch/drinks at work on friday fairly often. Nice italian restaurant about 100 meters from subi hotel.

I would assume Joe or one of the other connoisseurs will advise if it still good.

They stopped buying bread from us when the restaurant changed hands, NFI if its still good or not.. but IMHO, an Italian restaurant doesn't serve kangaroo fillets in blueberry sauce.

It got 56% on Urbanspoon.
