Ok car idles fine, but as soon as you take off it dies.
In the last few weeks it's has a hesitation, kinda like running out of fuel, but then picks back up again and behaves.
The fuel pump looks like the original Jecs part, but when running sounds quite quiet, I can squeeze the return line and it doesn't feel like it has that much pressure, thats close to the rail just off the regulator.
I am putting it down to the fuel pump is just fucked, the fliter blocked or possibly regulator fucked as well.
But I'm sure it could be a few things, its not the AFM and doesn't run all shitty like a fucked one does, although I'm not going to rule it out.
So if anyone has any ideas let me know.

Its a R31 with RB20DET

Check for airleaks around coolers etc

Chuck a multimeter on the airflow meter voltage output wire and see if it changes with increased airflow, has the typical symptoms of a bung airflow meter/airleak/popped cooler pipe etc

Checked the pipes and was all good, had it happen a few weeks ago, still drove barely.
Car was towed tonight, after sitting for a hour or so it drove fine, I'm wondering if the fuel pump overheated and thats the reason why it died after 20 mins of driving.
Will check the AFM though to make sure thats's not it.
Still replacing fuel pump as it's just plain old and filter looks old as well.At least then I know they are done.

hi mate, had the same issue with my bmw. I thought it was fuel pump AFM injectors etc...but found out that the strut mount under the engine where the main negative is connected snapped off (so much for German quality haha). Follow your main negative make sure its secure and has a good ground.

good luck hope it helps.

Sound like either AFM or TPS I have one of both you can swap out to check against if you need ...

It stalls due to the lack of burnouts..
Drop 2nd and then just keep the momentum going!
