WTAC World Time Attack

Very draining weekend. Worked all day Thurs, hopped on a midnight flight, no sleep on the plane, straight to eastern creek and took photos all day. The the same the next day. Had a decent time though.

Below is the sequence that led to the above photo. Useless marshals had no idea how to use the flags. Guy was travelling about 150km/hr i reckon when they collided.

both cars are write offs too, the s13's windscreen was cracked to bugger, and both cars had extensive rail damage

the s13 was a brand new car, it'd done a few laps and then that was a shame, so well built..

got to spend a few hours in the pits with the PANSPEED RX7, the driver (cant remember his name) and the crew setting up turning on my go pros to film some of their runs. I really need to learn to speak Japanese! I met a few of the crews and drivers of the international cars and they were all so friendly and accomodating with letting my climb inside the cars to mount cameras.

I got to sit inside the Cyber evo at the end of the day. very special. Wish i knew bout them letting you mount cameras. should have asked if i could hang onto the cage inside and take some in car shots during a run hahaha.

I doubt they would have let anyone do it. I was helping out Andrew filming for Motive DVD so theres advertising in it to keep their sponsors happy :)
