Hey guys,

I'm looking for the middle cam cover that goes on this engine please. Broke mine.

Cover goes pretty much where the engine mount is.

Im sure i spotted them on ebay recently,


failing that, you can get them from here http://www.extremepsi.com/store/home.php?cat=865, it should be the 95-99 middle cover, but just double check.

i have brought many parts from extremepsi, but as with most US suppliers they suck on the shipping so its always worth while getting a few things at once.

Yep, as per the extremepsi link, there are two styles of middle cover. there is also a one piece cover from a 1g dsm and VR4 which won't fit.

Did a check on that link, the part is round 43 + 132 USPS postage !

And it's this one here. Mine has a notch on the RHS corner ( flip the picture upside down ) for the CAS lead to go into.

I have seen these fixed.

not pretty but it works till a replacement arrives.

just line up the split and put some flat thin steel down the crack.......cut to length.

get some plastibond and attach the strip of steel on the out side. secure it with some small pop rivets through the plastic on the inside. make sure you put some small washers under the rivet heads to spread the clamp area. use a zig zag pattern up the crack
