RB25det into RB30s Patrol

Can anyone tell me is a RB25det will drop straight in place of a RB30s?

I'm hoping the engine mounts and gearbox is the same but am unsure.

yes they bolt straight in, use the rb30 mounts, sump & pickup, thermostat housing and sandwhich plate call me mike if you need and info

Why not bolt the twin cam head to the 3L?

Hey Mr Mike, Slightly OT, but is the 30 out of your patrol dead or just replacing due to wanting more power? reason i ask is because one of the guys i work with asked me to keep an eye out for a replacement motor for a Rb30 patrol (specificly wants another 30), as his friends is on its way out.

nothing wrong with mine runs fine and only has 233,000km which is pretty low for a 91 patrol. But just lookin for more power and better fuel economy.
