Hey guys just heard that an aquaintances S15 has just been stolen,

Silver, Vertex LAng Kit, last seen heading south on Tonken Hwy.

Plate starts with 1CZ**** that all i know if you could keep an eye out :/

Yeah this is what I have been told by my mate who is the owners housemate, potential buyer came to house, took for test drive half way through drive forces him out of the car and took off down Tonken!

Not going to jump on that whole band wagon of 'you should of it etc.', that's just not necessary. Hope like all fuck you get it back un-molested, hopefully it just gets dumped and not torched. Best of luck, will keep an eye out.

An idea i thought of is to chuck an active sim card in an old phone and hide it in the boot somewhere or under the rear seats during test drives.
That way if they decide to try shit at least you may be able to track where the car is? Not a detective so maybe someone can shed some light on tracking mobiles.
But yeah hope its gets back to you in one piece.....

Do these cars generally get stripped and sold as parts or what? That bonnet is massively identifiable so I wouldn't be driving that around stolen... My guess is that they will try get a stock S15 bonnet for it so maybe contact some Jap wreck places to let you know where any S15 hoods are going?

Car was confirmed spotted at the woolworths fuel station on the corner of Canham and Wanneroo road. Guy filled it up then drove off, was followed by a good bloke that had seen it on face book but wasn't able to catch up to it. Was heading North down Wanneroo at around 10.30pm last night. Service station has footage of the thief so hopefully he is identified. Car was stolen with a full tank of gas so it is being driven everywhere to use that!

Not having a go mate but did you get the test drivers details (name, mobile number or drivers licence) before they nabbed the car. Surely you would have known who they were before you let them go out in the car.

That petrol station is a Caltex and it has Vortex 98.

I always hold onto the person's drivers license and their car keys to their vehicle, even if I am driving with them passenger or they are driving the car and I am passenger. Too bad you don't have insurance, even 3rd party fire and theft.

what are the plates? spotted a very similar looking car, though the taillights didnt look as dark in person. plates 1ADL - something..Tuesday morning at about 8am heading northbound on marmion, cnr ocean reef road.
same bonnet, very similar wheels etc.

Have been contacted by Clarkson police and don't have all the details but keys were anonymously handed to police with an address of it's whereabouts. Car is being examined by forensics, officer said the stereo is gone and the front bar is damaged but haven't seen for myself. Will update when i know more. Thanks to everyone for their support and helping to spread the word!
