Hey dudes,
I'm over in New Zealand on holidays and I have my Canon 450D on board.
There has been a stack of snow here and over the next week I am going to be amongst alot of it.
I am asking for some advice on taking shots of snow/ice.
From some quick research I have found some saying to over expose to +1 to +2 to prevent the snow from appearing grey, does this make sense?
Would there be a preferred aperture to use in snow landscape shots? On most of my far set landscape shots so far I have used f/9 unless I want to blur out the background behind something where I was using f/4.5ish... Does this seem about right for sunny/slight over cast conditions that have no snow?
I'm guessing if it's sunny to use ISO 100 but what would be best to use if it is overcast?
Should I be using the "sunny16" rule? (only just came across it...)
Thanks a million for any advise!!
