Also, quick timing on capturing no#83's accident, Good to see he was ok. Everyone had a gut wrenching feeling as that unfolded as a similar incident occured the previous meeting which required an ambulance etc

No, have a loot at the back end of the other kart, he is wearing a black/grey striped helmet, However he did land pretty hard on his head which was concerning..

Great day was kinda ruined at the end by some bloke essentially threatening me saying its illegal to take photos of people under the age of 18.... same bloke i overheard mutter profanaties as i walked through the gate with my camera......

That seems a bit odd, everyone at Wundowie is usually pretty happy with race pics, probably some outsider "checking" the place out. Speaking of outsiders I had 2 guys case my kart out yesterday they basically hovered around it all day and weren't racing and when I questioned one he said he raced juniors yet he was about 24+ was certainly odd..

Anyway, throw up a link but I wear a black/gray suit with black helmet and chrome visor, kart should have the standard Flatout karts/Arrow graphics.

Talked to some of the committee members after about him and turns out hes not very popular at all within the club....

Dont get me wrong he was the ONLY bloke that was like that. everyone else was very welcoming. Met the vice president Randall and he was over the moon that someone was actually taking photos.

Scaf i joined the club bout 2 wks ago. went for my first practice week b4 last and thought id come up to see how a race meet was run.
Will be racing in senior national J's.
Btw did someone run u off during the formation lap? saw u limping as u got out of the kart?

Rods always been a wanker, unfortunately he's not the only one that's around karting. Your sure to meet many more like him.

The first form up was quite interesting as Scaf had someone who's new to karting/track and it was there first time/form up. After the warm up lap as you form up he turned right instead of taking the cut through which left Scaf no where to go unfortunatly... it happens.. then they still couldn't form up and a few spun on the main straight when lights didn't go green, a VERY interesting start to the day I must say!!

When you come out next to start racing, don't be afraid to come say Hi, you know my Kart/suit/helmet/number now so I'm sure you'll see me around.

Yeah will definitely come have a chat with u guys. Im not hard to spot. i think im the only one representing the oriental culture. might chuck a hello kitty sticker on my kart for good measure haha.

But yeah ill be at the next practice. want to get some track time in before racing. Still gotta buy my bloody transponder.

I'll hopefully be running clubman super heavys, providing I can get time off work!

Yep I got cleaned up, luckly the problems with the start lights gave us enough time to fix up a busted steering arm and get back before the restart. The limp I got earlier in the day.

Hey guys i have been looking into getting started in karting but they always say its better when there is more than just yourself starting out.... it seems like there are a few guys on here that are into it... might have to head up there an check it out...

are there many "bigger " blokes that race at all?

^^^ Buy a kart and just do it mate. Thats what i did. Talk to the fellas on here that race they have been very helpful in getting me started. Your more then welcome to join me next time i head up. Im yet to do a race, only been to pracs to get used to the track. And there are plenty of big fellas racing.
