im planning on buying a s1580 so i know fibreglass conversion fenders are illegal and thats not a problem as im happy to change front end every few months for pits. my problem is the rear 1/4 panel wide body wheel arches.. obviously their is steel underneath im curious if this is still illegal as i want to change up the everyday s1580 by using the rocket bunny body kit as seen in link below.. how do you guys think i will go with this? and how 2 get around any issues legally.

any advice would be greatly appreciated..
Cheers Chris.

Pretty sure fibreglass rear overfenders will be fine.

The increase in track width may be an issue though, I assume you will be wanting to fill out the fenders

Not really an issue, because you'll just smash on stock rims for the pits anyway.

Depends ont he dude at the time man. I passed with them, then the next time i failed with them. Dude who bought my car got yellowed, and they failed.
does the 50mm rule apply? like when you smash on flares and shit?

Lambchops has passed twice with them on the rear.
Its when you start cutting metal that you would come into trouble.
