dammit!!! I put my car on and it only got 136.7DB and then realised after I went on my amp was turned all the way down :(, nice statesman there got 140 and from outside the car you couldnt even hear the stereo on.... must have been allot of sound proofing! other than that it was fun and that SS was fully sick!

there was a Jeep there with 1x 12" and that made 140db!!!!!!!!!! once I upgrade my deck I will put it on again, this time turn up the amp ;) it was practically on 0 to remove some engine noise

Yeah mate had the jeep and got 142.8DB from his one L7 Kicker :) Took out the 0-160DB went home and got an other sub but they didn't let him enter the next categorie so some one with 2 subs i think one with 140DB lol

yeah that was me that won the second categorie i got 140.2 on my first go then right at the end of the day another guy ran 140.6 so i adjusted some stuff and run 143.6 i was the first and last car to run

mate got 139 from a **** setup, stock speakers, single monoblock and 12in kicker

and people had 10/15 grand sound systems, pulling 125-130

hey just thought u guys would like to know i rebuilt my sub box and tested it this arvo at audio worx mandurah and got 155 db outta my 2 solobaric 12"s and Xplod 1600 watt amp

Every 7dB is twice as loud.

An increase of 3dB is equivalent of twice the intensity of the sound (from what I remember from general physics last semester)

Having said that, SPL is gay, no point having a loud stereo if its all bass and it ruins the music. SQL is where its at....
