I'm looking for a good quality oil cooler kit with a decent sized core, relocator and all lines needed to mount it it up
Just wanting some options/opinions on what people have run on their cars
It's for a sr20

Do you really need it? I would think you would only need one if you spend a lot of time at the track.

The setrab coolers seem pretty well endorsed on the Nissan Road Racing forum, but you'll need to piece the kit together yourself.
I'll be watching this thread with interest. Mine would be for track use - also on a stroked SR20.

Yeah mine is stroked aswell, last skid pan day my oil temps were close to 98 degrees and that's with a trust sump, so I want to pit a cooler on it considering I want to start abusing it on the track

To do it with decent brand name stuff, and a good cooler would be just over a grand. I priced up doing one on a 1JZ just now, the hose, relocator, billet block adaptor and fittings required was just over 700, all speedflow stuff. Good mocal or PWR coolers are about 300-500 depending on size IIRC

buy a TRUST or HKS kit.
cost will be around $1000-$1500 landed but both should come with ducting.
and everything you need to bolt it on.
When i ran my hks kit on my track r33 (drive side front duct with no ducting) temp were very constant on the track never saw over 90 degrees if i remember right (could of been less)
Also make sure you get a kit with thermostat or else you have to block up the core in cooler weather

I am half way through putting a Mocal 16 row oil cooler on my car (Not a SR). There is no off the shelf kit for mine so I have had to piece it all together. Once you find all the associated threads its not too hard. Sandwich spin off plate has a 80deg thermostat in it too. Has cost me about $600 all up including SpeedFlow fittings and braided hose from Go-Gear. Money can be saved by using rubber hose and clamp fittings. Make sure that once you fit the sandwich plate where the oil filter goes, the oil filter still fits! Mine doesn't and I will have to buy the oil filter relocation plate now too.
