Clubsport Auto Trans Issues - Help.

Hey Guys,

In kind of need for some advice opinions.

I'll explain the problem.

Car is a 2004 R8 clubby, gen 3 ls1, auto trans.


Last week suddenly the car would no longer go into second gear, I could still use Reverse, 1st 3rd and 4th.

I've been driving it skipping second, and haven't had the car looked at, due to my economic circumstances atm (broke as a joke bro).

Last night it got worse, and now will go into 1st and 2nd, and won't go into 3rd and 4th..

Any ideas what could possibly be wrong? I need a car for work etc, so its kind of hard.

No chance on getting credit etc, so in a bit of a pickle.

Auto fluid is fine, smells normal, and is a good colour.

I dunno for sure.. But if it's the 4l60e I wouldn't hold out massive hope from reading up on heaps of auto feedback myself. But worth getting checked out. There is shitloads of info on the net about troubleshooting.
