Fella's, Chasing a set of 16x10 rims for my GU pootrol, factory flares. Steelies if possible, or alloys if thats my only option. What sort of offset would i be looking at also? Currently has a 3" lift kit with 285/75/16 (32.8" tyre)
Ideas?

Why do u want 10" rims? That wide with what is essentially a 33" rim will just give you trouble with shit getting in the beads or even the bead breaking away when have tyres let down for on the sand.
But if ur still keen most tyre shops can get ROH or King steelies in that size expect to pay about $150-200ea. Or if you have deep pockets Opposite Lock in Jandakot have Mickey T alloys that are awesome looking.

because the stock GU rims have gay offset, and the 16x8's do also, 16x10's have a better offset aswell as width. $150-200 ea for steelies? fuck that lol.

Gu has the factory fitted 16 by 8's with a 0 offset.
Or the alloys, they are 17 by 8 with 0 to.
a 285/75/16 tyres is a 'skinny' 33inch tyre.
You can put a 35inch tyre on a 8inch rim, but u will need a fatter offset than 0 for your Gu.
a 35inch tyre would prefer a 10inch rim, and will remove alot of the 'balloning' afect you will get by sticking a big tyre on a small width rim?
Typically you would smash on some rims with -22 or so offset.
This is a more standard offset for toyota and will stick out for nissan.
If you go 10inch rim you will need a much larger negaive offset.
Last i checked the local tyre store was selling 16 by 8 inch rims with a -22 offset for about $115 a pop.
10inch are not to common, 8inch is pretty standard aftermarket option. Micky T make some alloys in all shapes and sizes, maybe find a local suplier?

I have aftermarket 8 x 16 alloys on my patrol. I would like to put a 2 inch lift on it and then put bigger tyres on these rims, what would be the biggest tyres i could go, without looking out of proportion.

Maybe have a look at the american racing alloys, they look good and have decent offset, pics on pg 11 of the hotness thread

stolen from another forum, dude got 16x8 -12
i plan on doing the same whenever i get a gu, i reckon i could just about sell the 5 17 inch alloys and ht tyres and get six steelies with decent rubber with the money.
