UPS are the bomb.
Tracking is worth the extra money.
With the AUD vs USD at the moment i dont see why it'd be considered exxy?

Cheapest is USPS but will take like 4 - 5 weeks. and there is 0 tracking....

Which USPS service did you get quoted

(assuming you can get it droped at depot) As length + girth is less than 79" is can go "package" rather than "large packages" ... Still cost $195 per box though, but it'll be here within a week

Sea freight will be cheap, but can't help you there

Oops thought you said USPS, as some ppl quote the large package option and it costs 4x the other option, either way above prices stand via USPS international priority

Destination Australia
Select "packages" (not large packages)
Enter weight

When you click what service you need hit just the Packages option. Even though large packages says for items over 12", you can still send via "package" if length plus girth is less than 79"

I buy heaps of stuff out of USA that measures 16"x16" as a minimum, up to 20 odd inches L x W

They have been bit slower lately, maybe they're gettin hammered

Prevously I have received stuff within 48 hours, but usually about a week

I sent some gear on the 10th and it's been sitting at Perth airport since tuesaday night, which isnt too bad. Its cleared customs on wednesday so not sure what the hold is

http://www.shipito.com/

Recent example: $600 to ship a driveshaft. Through shipito it's $140.

Via shipito you can set your invoice value as you fill out the customs declaration yourself. They also remove all traces to official invoices from the packages if you chose the consolidation option - They replace it with their own "commercial invoice". I have successfully shipped over $3k worth of stuff in a single package on multiple occasions and not been charged once.

UPS economy.

You could send it LCL seafreight but there is a minimum of 1m3 Charge and it takes around 43 days to get here.

Up to you.
