stolen from sau

Hey guys,

Just wanted to post up something that helped me sell my R33 GTST.
It was sold within 2 days and the guy came from 350km way because he could see, hear and get a feel for the car through the vid.

I used a production company called Jet Video to film a unique video showing off the car and its features.
They create wicked top gear style clips to help sell or feature cars.

It's on YouTube, here is the link.

Check it out, and let me know what you think of it.

Set the guy back about $500

Pretty cool concept/idea - I wonder if it will take off?..

I like it, looks pretty good. THey could have left out the shots of the crappy paint, but I suppose that shows the buyer the flaws and the good things too.

For $500 it would probably be more worth it for advertising something worth a bit more than $10K though...

Yes and no.. May save 500 in the end if there are lots of people interested as opposed to 1 or two chipping away at the price or offering vx commies + cash

Not a bad idea, it would also be a sweet addition to a top shelf build thread.

I think its a very good idea! Much more interesting to watch than to read a whole list of mods as well as giving a general idea how the car runs, look like, and the damages if available

Fuck yea, great idea i reckon. Will definately make browsing forsale threads 100% more informative ! Good to see imperfections included in the video too, in my opinion.

Very cool idea but as others have said it's only really worth it for more expensive cars.

I would like that just to have a cool video of my car, not just because I was trying to sell it.

But I guess someone who is good at editing could do it easily enough them selves.

This. If you had all the rigs and stuff to film you just to befriend a IT savvy person to finish the job :)

FEK... I've sold about three or four cars now using YouTube as a tool.... Not a big fancy production like that though....

That's pretty cool, I saw the same style work used to sell big $$ houses now too. Minature movie in the house

How can you not buy that car after seeing the vid. Looks like a very good idea to sell a car

I might steal this concept. I can put together something similar pretty easy. Have an editing setup at home and access to cameras and grip gear.

Anyone got a car they want shot? Would do first one free as test run.

Can offer my skyline if you want?

Or, more interestingly, could maybe organise a panda 86?

LOL yup

I would be more prepared to buy a car if this is the type of video they included

Awesome idea! Decent amount of effort put in, I also like the fact that they showed the cars faults in the vid.

Send me a PM if you are serious. I'd be keen to give it a shot.
