View Full Version : PSN free games redemption on now.
Not sure if everyone knows, but Sony has released a " Sorry " package to accommodate what has happened over the last few months.
If you go into the PSN store, there's a link for the redemption. You get 2 free full games out of a choice of 5.
I can't remember all of them, but there's a Ratchet and Clank, Wipeout HD, Dead Nation, and 2 others. Apparantly there's some free PSP games too, I'm going to go back in after mine have finished downloading and get them.
They are also offering 30 days free access to Playstation Plus with the deal.
Pete.

Valid for 30days from when access was restored afaik but I can see them running it a bit longer than that considering some users are still having issues.
I downloaded Wipeout HD last night, not sure what other game to get
I got WipeoutHD, Dead Nation, getting Burnout Paradise atm and another old school game.
Think I may have to crank the psp on and get the other 2 games for that, although I've got 270 odd gig worth of games already I possibly don't need anymore. So if anyones got a cracked psp, I've got a few games.
thanks for sharing!
just downloaded ratchet & clank and infamous
gonna get burnout paradise later today

Downloaded my stuff yesterday.... man my internet quota got hammered :(
Got InFamous (7gig) and Little Big Planet (2gig)
Sooo impressed with LBP, don't know why I never purchased it back in 08 when it came out. Might have to buy LBP2.
Will be downloading LBP & Modnation Racers for the PSP today.
PS: if you keep getting the error coming up, back out and retry. Obviously the store is fully congested due to everyone downloading stuff, but for me I kept backing out and retrying over and over and it eventually works

"If you're a PlayStation Plus member, you can download this game at no extra cost and it's your to keep until your subscription ends."
So basically you can have it for 30 days until it expires, unless you buy a continuing subscription.
That's for the 'free' games in PlayStation Plus, not the two free games in the Welcome Back package.

Infamous, Dead Nation, LBP & Ratchet & Clank for me. I have another account on my PS3 which will not be used in the next 30 days, so I'll use their downloads to get more free games. :D

More follow up from the hacking, received an email from Sony about a website called CSIdentity. I couldn't really find much information on the website as to whether they are any good, what they actually do or how much they cost after the free introductory period is over.
Anyone else know any of this info? Just keen to know if it's worth signing up, or just another place that is chasing my details to send junk email.
