Eligible cars
> Racing cars GT500/DTM/FIA GT etc 630PP* or less and Racing Soft tyres.

> And the usual one make stuff from the 'Recommended' arcade car list.

* You can de-tune your car for online racing by adjusting the Power 'slider' control if your car creeps over 630PP.

> Various Tracks (inc some random generated tracks)
> Driving aids allowed except skid recovery

Driving Standards

Some drivers are obviously faster than others but we're all racing for fun so boost is turned on to keep the pack together.

> Give each other racing room. No other pushing or ramming other cars off the tarmac.
> If you accidentally push or hit a competitor off the track, slow and let them re-pass you to address the situation (apologising via your headset will also help).
> If you deliberately push or hit a competitor off the track, you won't be invited back.

See you all Thursday.

Hey MGR, have you tried iracing ? I gave up on GT5 a while back as after trying iracing it felt way to boring and arcade like!

I'm in again this week.

I hate the pay per month thing with I-Racing. For a while there, was playing netkar-pro. Definitely up there there in the way of simulation style racing games, just not many Australians racing so end up play some early mornings/late nights to get a good field of cars to race.

The guys responsible for iRacing were also behind other games like InyCar Racing, Grand Prix Legends and the Nascar series. Fucking awesome games in their time and no doubt iRacing is the same.

Due to family, work and motorsport commitments I don't have enough free time in my life these days to invest getting good enough to the point I'd be happy playing (and paying the subscripton fee) for iRacing. Plus my PC is an old pile of shit.

good racing on the custom track at the end. plenty of people giving way after bumps and shit. very close battles going on for multiple positions.

awesome

Once again I was impressed with the general conduct of everyone in there tonight. Yes there were a few bumps etc, but overall it was some really good fun racing.

Loved it!

yeah the damage race was interesting...

i was trying to stay out of the way on corners. especially on the 1st lap as i had feeling it would be a race of atrition.
