Douche Bag

Mm, sitting here posting on AL, thought I'd post up my current cars... (yes I know I go through a fair few..)
I actually bought this 32GTR because after everything else I had, I just couldn't get away from them and regretted selling my old 32 so much... So had to have another! Have been slowly doing it up to the point where I want it in terms of looks and performance.
It was unrego'd when I bought it. Previous owner was first aussie owner who bought it from Autoworx. He had it 5 years and did approx 6000kms. It was running like shit when I bought it - wouldn't rev when it hit boost at 4k. Also had some silly (imo) mods and a few cracks in the front bar.
How I got it:

Anyway first things first, get it rego'd cause it just makes things so much easier. I removed the spoiler, bonnet pins (didn't bother plugging), then brought it to an auto sparky cause there were no tail/dash lights. Lots of money later, it was fixed (headlight plug/switch broken). Still running like shit, hicas light on and having a tiny little momo 320mm steering wheel, I bought it to Welshpool pits and basically was just after a list of things to fix for next time.
When I got there, there were 3 old inspectors and 1 younger bloke... so I waited for the younger bloke lol. Anyway, made conversation with him and miraculously, he passed it! Was stoked to say the least haha. :)
Next, I narrowed down car not wanting to rev, to the shit (6year+ old) tune and stock injectors (he said he put them in cause popo stickered him for having leaky old ones).
Paid and collected the new Sard injectors, brought it into JPC to have them installed and a general check over of the car.
This ended up with me buying a new exhaust they had on display... A one piece front pipe back 3.5" stainless straight through to a large cannon, no cat and no center resonator (not that loud amazingly).
Next step, brought it into XSpeed (only ones who will tune an Fcon), LOTS of money later, I picked up the car running sweet! -Also received a clean bill of health!
Happily, it made 400.1rwhp at 18psi.

Lastly for mechanical side, I was unsure of what or when the gearbox oil was changed, so I got some redline lightweight shockproof for it and was installed at Hyperdrive.
Next step was to fix the aesthetics.
I absolutely hated that gearknob. It was metal and got hot in the sun and felt like shit in my hand to change with, so I bought a stock one. Same goes for the silly momo, so I got a stock steering wheel installed (SO MUCH BETTER).
Then, I bought a stock spoiler off lonewolf but that never ended up staying on the car as I got a whole boot inclusive of spoiler off Mayhem (thanks mate). Got that sprayed and fitted (old one had too many holes to be viable), along with repairing the front bar and respraying that (had lots of stone chips, 2-3 cracks). However, the bonnet is proving to be a problem cause no one wants to weld aluminium in fear of it warping. I'm going to get Brad Stacy to give it his best shot tomorrow/on the weekend, we'll see what happens from there. Just remembered, drivers seatbelt just shat itself and no longer retracts.. Got to get me another..
So yeah, thats currently where its at. Don't have any pics of how the interior looks now..
I do plan on taking it to the track someday as its setup for it but uni and other stuff comes first :(

Oh yeah, I also have a Range Rover :D
1992 Range Rover Vogue SE
First del. in 93 - sold by Barbagello with books up to 120km (now 156). Never been off road, stock except for coil suspension conversion with Kings springs/shocks.
Its the luxo spec with leather and sunroof, elec seats, drivers memory. I've always loved the shape of these things and wanted a 4wd, so being half pom, I bought one lol. Not the best daily, if I'm honest... (Fuel) Its absolutely farking HUGE though haha, towers above everything
Amazingly for a range rover though, most things still work!
Only problems I've experienced so far:
- When I turn it on, warm or cold, it doesn't idle unless I hold revs for about 10secs (anywhere, 600-1500), after that, it idles perfect at a solid 600.
Research leads me to needing a new MAF? (afm) Input appreciated
- Passenger rear door doesnt open with the central locking.
- Roof lining sagging at the rear
- Fog lights don't work
- TCS light on
Everything else does though, including the sunroof + I have working heater and AC.. Probably cop flack for buying a RRC but I LOVE it!
Plans for this are to fix whatever needs doing first, then we'll see how we go for off road fun :)
