Greetings, long time shit poster on Perth-WRX and looking to expand my portfolio
Had my Subi for a few years now and was getting to the stage where I was either going to sell or do some work on it.
Had the decision made for me when I blew the big ends on it so here it goes.
Here's the car as it stands, only cosmetic mods are Morrette headlights, e-bay spec foglight covers, clear reflectors and side indicators, FMIC (came with the car), Ecutek stage 2, exhaust and CAI

What it looks like now and has done for the past 7months ¬_¬

Well actually it looks worse then that as in this time my ole man has retired and had to remodel the factory for generic rent so its absolutely covered in dust :(
Was going to basically keep everything stock but thought may as well build it up due to being able to get parts at trade price.
So heres the build

Decided on purchasing a 207 'with the help of Dougie from STechnic', and replaced a lot of other bits and pieces along the way like water pump and oil pump as well as a shit load of hoses and other bits and pieces 'didn't realise so many vacuum hoses weren't connected. Also purchased ARP headstuds and an exedy sports tuff clutch.
Was going to go down the route of decaping the stock injectors but on the advice of my tuners MMS as well as doing some of my own research I have chosen to go with Injector Dynamics 725s.
Other mods include TGV delete mod, purchase of Cosworth Cams (272), and have also had some porting done to the heads.
As far as turbo selection I have chosen to go with the GTPumps GTPS03 and also purchased a Grimspeed 3port BCS giving the FMIC more function and less cosmetic appeal.
Fast forwarding to where it sits today we have the bottom end put back together and hopefully going to start work on putting the rest of it back together on Monday 'its been a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time coming'.
Needless to say can't wait to get this back on the road and itching to get the motor warn in so I can give it a few blips to see how it goes with the new work done.
Going to stay with the Ecutek tune but unsure if I'm going to go stage 3 or just have it retuned with current flash 'cash dependent'.
Cheers,
Mark
