Can Timber decking be applied over solid brick paved areas?

Yes, you cant just lay over the top. It will need to be battened out for ventilation and fixing boards down

^ if your interested I've had 10+ quotes based on my advert, with prices ranging from $4800 to $1900 (both Jarrah) & $1500 (for Merbau).

getting 1 or 2 out for a look on tuesday & from talking to the last bloke I think I will go with the $1500 quote.

Merbau, we are not keen on jarrah & he is sealing/staining it to be similar to the QLD blackbutt in the house.

Looks pretty decent and price is good too.
I want mine to be similar look to our internal flooring, nsw blackbutt with satin water based finish

Yeah i would blame the architect, because in this and many cases of these jobs, the architect is the wife and what they say goes. Who cares if its not functional, it's what she wants and it's what she gets.
