So went down and had Ryan Annear of FullyAutomotive Photography take some nice photos of my car the other night at Carousel Carpark for the Autolife Streetlook shoot. Here's some of them :)

Specs
Interior:
12" Kicker Sub
Stock speakers and head
Momo steering wheel (no idea if this is stock)

Exterior:
ANZ VRZ 18" Rims
Scratches
Virtually straight through exhaust

Engine:
N/a

A few of you would have seen me on some cruises this year.

I'm not going to mod the rex any further besides head and speakers (because they sound shit atm without sub being tuned in) because I'm going to sell in the next year of so. Figured I'd save a bit of money.

Possibly a VE SSV ute lol...
Was thinking of going a maloo but I like the VE range better and that will still be out of my price range in a year. RWD V8 for some...fun lol And the ute bit because I'm sick of being a taxi 9/10 times for my mates.

All sorts of lose in that statement!!!! Spend some coin on handling or upgrade to an STi after you've saved a bit more then take that and the taxi out on the track and see which one you prefer, then decide.

Went with my girlfriend to test drive a Honda Jazz Vti-S and the salesmen proper thrashed it. Breaking speed limits, quickish launches, weaving and such. Would not want that demo when they were done with it. But yeah they wont let you do that.

True.. just looked this up.. "The last generation M3 retailed in Australia from $140,000 to $156,000. Given the price hike in Europe, we can make an educated guess and estimate the new M3 will also rise in price by at least $15,000 plus on roads (we still pay roughly $30,000 more than the brits!)."

and then all the taxes and stamp duties..

pretty sure you wont get a brand new one under or around the 200k mark

As much as I'd like to, it is not an option for me.

I still have the stock headlights at home but might paint them black when I find someone who knows what they are doing. Had a shitload more compliments on the angels at the moment but each to their own.
As for lowering it, I cannot justify spending $1300 on coilovers to lower it 6cm. If someone knows a cheaper spring that will do this, please let us know and I'll scrap the EBC and CAI and lower it instead :)

Also if verso provides the same benefits as an EBC then I'll scrap the EBC.

Keep in mind Jayden, this is a performance based car club. You can keep your angel eyes if you like them, but most people here would view it as some form of 'Rice' or 'Tacky'. A lot of these same people are more concerned with which part of japan their rims were boxed up.

Are you still enjoying the car at this level? What would you like it to do? Are you looking for a little more poke, maybe a little better suspension if you hit the hills/track/skid-pan etc? Plan out what you want to do, and spend the money once. Maybe even invest in a cheap car to modify?

If you think the only use for coilovers is to lower a car, than maybe you should stick to springs and angel eye mods. Decent coilovers allows for tuneable suspension and far greater handling and driveability. But yeah, if you're getting compliments on the angel eyes, who needs a fast handling car!
