New South America Contiki's

Contiki just released details of their new South America tours sadly lacks Columbia & Cuba stops but seems to cover the other interesting joints. Would any of you do this over doing a 2nd Europe trip.

Sure would. Haven't looked into the tours thoroughly but touring through the south would be great and a completely new experience to Europe.

i had been considering south america as one of my next holidays, keen to go to brazil, argentina, chilie etc. Contiki may be a good idea for those sorta places. But doing it on your own would be alright. Not sure if id do a contiki myself, i did one through Europe and needed a holiday after getting back, up at early hours and drinking til very late messes you up!

Mine totally destroyed me, best fun ever though. Trick is don't go to sleep unless your on the bus.

I can't wait for my contiki tour now ! :) This one would definately be worth going on !

hah should of tried that! Agreed the destroy you, wish i took a few more days off when i got back! i dont think ill do another one, but is is an experience.
i nearly missed the bus twice, and they warn you at the beginning....they dont wait!! Woke up 5 mins before bus due to depart Those days on the bus were horrible, literally had to chuck on wat i could find cram the suitcase shut and run out to the bus, Felt like absolute shit. The hanving to spend 5 odd hours on the bus.

I'm doing the "Thai Island Hopper East" contiki, it's meant to be for 9 days but I'm getting 2 extra nights in Phuket :) it's a good one to go on as you get loads of free time !
