The Role

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Sales Consultant to join our strong sales team based in Kewdale, Perth. Reporting to the Branch Manager, the key responsibilities of this role will focus on sales and providing a high level of customer service. This role includes:

•Parts interpretation and the effective management of the sales process.
•Preparation of quotes, purchase orders and other documentation required for buy-in products.
•Effective communication of customer feedback to improve products and services.
•Evaluation of Market, Pricing or Product information that may affect sales.
•Shared responsibility for team productivity through initiative and effective communication.
•Assist with deliveries and maintenance of the warehouse when required.
•Assist with local representation to improve customer relations and service (as required ).

The Candidate

If you have a solid background in the commercial vehicle industry, thrive on selling and have a knack for spare parts and problem solving, then this role could be for you. The successful candidate must be an effective communicator, a team player and have a proven track record in developing good customer relationships. Ideally you will have:

•A minimum of 18-24 months experience in spare parts sales, preferably Truck and Bus parts.
•A technical or mechanical background in heavy vehicle parts will be highly regarded.
•Experience in Japanese / European commercial vehicle parts is preferred but not essential.
•A strong understanding of the principles customer service and teamwork.
•A strong ability to adapt and understand IT and workplace systems.
•Good verbal and written communication skills.
•Good organisation and time management.
•Good problem solving skills, results-oriented and highly motivated
•Good interpersonal skills with a can-do attitude

Salary is Negotiable depending on experience Base + Incentives +Super + Salary Continuance Insurance
