Powersteering removal YELLOW possible?

Hi guys

I plan to remove and convert my supra steering rack to a manual rack would it cause me to get a defect notice? A70 supra were never offered in manual rack form. this wont be a loop lines effort rack will be stripped down and all powersteering ports welded up.

If the cops noticed it then yes they'd probably defect you for it as it's a considerable modification from how it left the factory floor. If there were non PS models available you'd have a lot more luck, but this is just my opinion.

A quick call to an inspection centre should clarify your question.
