t's a testament to the safety built into these cars ... i still find it unbelievable when people complain about getting kicked out of the drags when they run a 10, yes the street cars are 2-3 seconds slower .. but at 130-140mph they will come off a lot worse than this car at 180mph

Good to hear, on the youtube clip the fire looked alot worse..

Would be a shame to see a car thats been so successful go out like that if its not repairable.

doubt it would be repairable. 180+mph head on into a concrete wall is very destructive.
besides they can just buy another chassis from the states easy enough. they have all the data and setup information to get back on top quick enough.
Biggest thing is that Rocky is ok and will make a full recovery

unreal crash almost looks like an axle broke turned right pretty hard.
yer easy to buy another aj chassis hard to buy another rocky.
wonder if he was knocked out because i didnt look like he set the e fire system off. yes i doubt very much if they try to repair it.

Fark, that is going to leave a headache. Glad to hear he is okay!!

Agree with Matt, things can go very wrong at the pointy end, and if it does you'd want all the insurance you can get to make sure you can walk away from it.

i was watching it online as it happened and the commentators said that the track crew spoke to rocky and he said he was conscious the whole time, it was the worst feeling watching it unfold ,just speechless.
