anyone know were to get some north of the river? used to get them from house of pasta in wanneroo but they have stopped now :\ they werent the best but $50 worth was more than you could eat

If you're around the Ballajura area, Villa Da Vinci does great chilli mussels.. and requesting 'hot' will get you fricken hot chilli.. best served with fresh bread and butter and bon appetite :)

I normally get these for entree accompanied with garlic bread, and it is pretty filling by the time you get to your main meal.

Tues nites i think they're $15 for 1KG + crusty bread.
you can also choose your heat which is a bonus. heat level 1 - 5

the gf and i get heat level 3 and we aint pussys when it comes to chilli.

i have tried 5 once, and its fucking spastic. shat out the mantle of planet earth the next day..... thats if your into that kinda thing :)

Yeah same building, House of Pasta is dead now though. The pingpingpingping that ran it was an absolute filthy swine. Hence the renovation + purchase of all new equipment. It's a fairly open kitchen so you will see the difference for yourself.
