View Full Version : Shoot Location - Who has access to a good location?
HPI are doing a shoot for my Supra later this month. Im looking for a good shoot location. has to be outdoors, cant be on grass or dirt. Dont want to do anything near the river, boat ramp etc. thinking something industrial and was hoping someone on here would have access to a good location that the public normally cant get to.
cheers
Rich

Road train assembly area @ intersection of Apple Street and Gt Northern Highway.
Has a middle of the desert/isolated feel too it.

No, its just a dirty carpark.
Good for helis and skids though
I reckon an indoor go kart track would be cool, but good luck getting one to shut down for a couple of hours.
Mandurah Foreshore? Could have Dans mates glassing each other in the background
Wouldnt need to bring your own burning barrells either

To be honest - what do people reckon about a stickerbombed wall/stickerbombed enclosure for a car to sit in for a shoot?
Not exactly same as a graffiti background?

Laneway off Howard St in the CBD? has some cool cobble stones and graffiti. Its pretty narrow though so tricky for side shots.

Went here on a cruise the other night, it's an open undercover carpark, the roof is quite low compared to many others.
Might be worth a look? Obviously it's a shopping centre carpark, so you'd have to pick the correct days to take pics/etc.

You need a permit along with public liability insurance to get in there and they strictly forbid access during some times of the year when the place is vulnerable. I tried to get in there a couple times last year and i couldnt afford to risk being kicked out so had to go through proper channels.
I think you can still get in there though.

My Uncle owns and operates the fixed wing water bombers. They might offer a good back drop. There's always at least two planes based in Perth (ie Jandakot), but the season is finishing up soon. 6-6 they're on call so availability is dependant on Perth arsons playing ball.
