Hey
got a VE SS ute which has a miss at idle enough to shake the car alittle as in you can feel it. Car has only done 27 xxxkm though and has no miss when driving at all.
obviouslly leads, plugs, coils...
but after such low kms which would it more likely to be plugs or leads?
also want it lower it considerably..prob with just good old king springs
prob keep the stock 18s on there but want it to look rather low
anyone here know what springs i should run to achieve this and bring it down from the heavens?
cheers

Is it still under warranty ? Take it to a Holden dealership if so, let them deal with it. Haven't seen any coil packs shit themselves on the VE SS range, seen some fucked plugs from pinging caused by terrible fuel qaulity. Could be injector related, make sure all the plugs are in, assuming the car is stock ?
SSL Kings seem to bring the VE's down to a decent height.
stumps.

Check pcv lines for leaks.

totally stock..
i know abit about ls1s but not the 6litres unfortunately..
but they are very similar..
i just thought after 27 xxxkm most parts from factory should still be in great running order. There was a point of about shit fuel fucking the plugs. definately a possibility as the last owner has more then likely brought fuel from afew roadhouses over the last 2 years as he travels to his folks farm about 3 hours away.

a sorta common thing that a few had is that one of the leads has come a bit loose from the plug. just push on them all tight
as ben said also could be a pcv hose...might be loose as i doubt it will be cracked

Then why did you buy another one, let alone one under new car warranty. If it's stock, take it in and try your luck, ya complaining fuck bag.

i have noticed on a few stock ve's they have a wierd sound, that is similar to a missfire.
my brothers car did it when it was stock, mates car did it also. both were manuals.

Just realized you posted this.. Holdens are fine as in the car and running gear but the people that inhabit the service sept and parts dept at nearly every dealership I've been too are a bunch of fucking monkeys. I never had an issue with my last ls1 because i never went to Holden for anything..
