Hey guys,
So this is my ba mk2 xr6 turbo, manual, and had 42,000kms on the clock when i picked it up. Also comes with premo sound :)

<a href="http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/?action=view&amp;current=18092010251.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/18092010251.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

about 3 days after buying it i went out and got some king springs for it Sl front and SSL rears not 100% happy with how it sits needs more low.

<a href="http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/?action=view&amp;current=DSC01289.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/DSC01289.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/?action=view&amp;current=29092010252.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/29092010252.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Also got a K&N filter while i was at it, & the typhoon secondary intake, so a little bit of cutting and filing and this.
<a href="http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/?action=view&amp;current=DSC01292.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/DSC01292.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/?action=view&amp;current=DSC01295.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/DSC01295.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

<a href="http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/?action=view&amp;current=DSC01294.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/DSC01294.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>.

So after this i got bored with the wheels i had on it so i stole some Te50 rims on the old man.
<a href="http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/?action=view&amp;current=DSC01747.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/DSC01747.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

But i ended up getting some Ba Gt rims and settling on them for now.
<a href="http://s216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/?action=view&amp;current=IMGP1359.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc170/stylz6t9/IMGP1359.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Then i ended up getting a Stock replacement cooler as im not chasing massive figures atm. Sprayed matt black.

I also have some simmens 60lb injectors, a Xcal 3 sitting here waiting, all i want to do it get a mal wood option 3 or 3+ clutch and get some valve springs for peace of mind.

After i have had the car tuned i plan on getting some coilovers and some sway bars to make the suspension better, & to upgrade the brakes on it.

Cheers hope you enjoy.
Joey

Wouldn't bother upgrading clutch until your one shits its self. I'm assuming you've got the 6spd manual so the clutch should be good for < 260rwkw for a while.

Who's tuning it/going to tune it??

Also remove stock spoiler, then add Force 6/8 bootlip spoiler FTW :D

Simon from xtreme will be doing the work to my car, I will be getting around 280-300rwkw well this is what I am chasing and the standard clutch is clapped out ATM,

I was thinking a ford lip or a djr spoiler and skid pics not working haha

yeh the springs arent as low as they claim, i was disappointed too when i installed mine.

the lip would be a nice addition also

You'll be very happy with the car once Simon's done with it :)

Personally I don't like the DJR spoiler (bit biased as I had the Force6/8 lip on mine)... but it doesn't require a new/welded boot so that's a plus.

I also had the F6 twin plate clutch but for what they cost I'd go the Mel Woods option if I had my time again.

On another note, has the old man got a TE50?

Details?

Yep, I was also disappointed with the SSL rears on my old F6.

Went SSSL, problem solved.

Also, Pat @ Wholesale Suspension in Penrith (Sydney) is the guy to talk to about Falcon coilovers and what not, whether you're after budget BC/XYZ coilovers, your more mainstream Teins, and even custom built Koni and Bilstein units etc.

Good luck with the build :)

Cheers.

I'm in Perth as well and have had all my suspension supplied via Wholesale. They're way cheaper than outlets in Perth, especially if you DIY install.

What set up you have in your car? And if you could pm me the details on rough cost?
Cheers

Hey Joey,

I have an AP Twin Plate (from the F6 - the one Torquen was talking about) that I pulled out of my ute and have no use for that you can have cheap if your keen?

Your springs don't seem very low at all... I have super lows all round in mine and the front tyre scrapes the guard on full lock and back is tucking tyre, and I manage to just clear speedhumps

they are AU springs at a guess. the springs i had in mine were originally from an AU and it was alot lower than the BA springs.

The ba springs are shiat, not as low as they claim.. That's why I also figure coilovers so I can set it how I want
