I havent seen MGR post up yet so....

8.30pm start, so same shit as every thursday for the 1st hour and bit and then if people are keen and for something a bit different....

SUV Racing with a 550PP limit. For those that may have noticed there has been an SUV Class in the online events for the past week.

So looking at running a 5 Lap Nurburgring race with heavy damage and no boost by 9:30'ish.

To sort the gentleman out from the cowbows, Racing soft tyres are allowed with no pitting, so choose your tyres carefully or try to conserve them.

So get to tuning your cars tonight for the action tomorrow night.

Have you done a mock run on Nordschleife for 5 laps with a 550pp SUV on Racing Softs?

I haven't, but I'm guessing they'll be well and truly fucked after 3.

yeah, thus the pick your tyre choice wisely comment.

I wouldnt put a tyre limit, just that those who want to run softs will need to be careful with no pit stop.

im going to do it again tonight, on my car setup to see if it wasnt pure luck i kept them alive the 1st time. lol

im my ssr i just did a 2 lap race and still had just over 50% on the tyre indicator with soft compound.

I reakon a 4 lap race would suit the soft tyres, but you'll start getting greasy tyres on the last lap. So up to the driver to choose whethor or not going a medium or hard compount will see you through.

fyi this was the 20km track not the 24km one with the pits.

though i guess a 5 lapper with a effectivily compulsary pit stop could be interesting if we do the 24km track.

hahaha as per the drift thread ive been playng with teh Dodge RAM for the past few nights, got it to around 650hp, jacked the suspension up so it looks nice and intimidating and comfort soft tyres... drifting a 2.5ton truck = lol

And of course at tracks like Nurby if you cant make a corner shortcuts/kerbs are no problem :)
