As the title sais, DiRT 3, Anyone else looking at this?

I've been playing DiRT 2 on the 360 with a playseat set up and I must say it is quite fun! The next instalment looks to be a big improvement with the added fun of Gymkhana and a lot of the Group B cars we love so much from the 70's

Looks to be released around 25/05/2011 :)

I bought a PS3 when GT5 came out and I already have a Xbox 360. Are there any noticable differences between the two versions? Which one would be best?

just like most multi platform games it would come down to which controller you feel more comfortable using... normally there is no diffrences

I can't speak for PS3 as I don't have one, but I doubt it should matter. Comes down to personal prefrences and what set up you like using I guess

best way to describe difference between 360 and ps3 is 360 does better with lighting and shading and ps3 does better with computing (lots of shit on screen) and physics. so a game like this may LOOK slightly better on 360. Also depends on how its developed.

as mentioned you usually cant tell, well, without doing a side by side comparison.

Picked this up yesterday on 360, awesome fun with a steering wheel, especially the gymkhana events. Only done a few races so far, but I clearly suck, getting whooped on anything more than the easy setting, def need some practice - or unlimited flashbacks lol

Much like Dirt 2 but obviously better cars, better events and the sounds have been raised a notch too.

Gymkhana with steering wheel, shifter and clutch is awesome. Done hardly any actual rally races. Only thing i hate is the faggot doing the voice over.

Picked this up on PS3 recently. A few annoying things, like the brakes being way too effective on gravel and some pacenote issues (some are downright inaccurate, and sometimes the co driver will just leave a note out)

Load times are annoying and lots of animated menu-interludes that just take up time. Looks nice, but tiresome.

Got it for PS3, I suck at it but still have fun. Haven't tried it with steering wheel setup yet since no room where I currently for it.

I noticed they released car pack DLC for it recently, looks nifty except wtf chevy camaro. Fukn stupid addition for a rally game imho.

Agreed about load times, shit is crazy. need to be able to install the game to hdd like you can on xbox360.

I've had this for a couple of weeks now, still very much hooked. Definitely made my handbrake/wheel/clutch set up worth it now as it makes for gymkhana and drifting so much easier than if I didn't have it.

Loading times are a bit slow especially before the pre-race screen where you can set up the car.

Apart from that, no complaints!
