We've got a 6 banger white VY ute with 190000kms on the clock with a shagged auto box. Any ideas where to get a cheap replacement box?

If you want to do it yourself, places like the quokka, ebay have them cheap all the time. If you want to pay a bit more but get a warranty, tonys autos will have them.
If you want a step by step on removing the box let me know.

The question you really need to answer franz, is why is it stuffed at 190km, thats a bit early.

sounds like a work car, so it's probably copped a flogging.

190,000 on the same oil?? Or maybe just heaps of single peggers

It is a work car; it hasn't had the easiest life and I'd hazard a guess to say that it probably hasn't received the regular services it should have!

They're called a time bomb for a reason folks. Holden has never had fully reliable auto boxes
