BMW E70 X5 4.8i

So after selling the old XR6T I wanted something nicer and better quiality and after owning 2 Holdens and 2 Fords I thought it was time for something different.

I would have gone for another sedan but I will be getting married by Christmas time so I will need the extra space, After looking for a while I had narrowed it down to two cars. The BMW E70 X5 or the Audi Q7. After abit of battle the X5 own and I started searching, At first I thought it shouldn't be too hard so many on carsales etc but after driving few of the models it defiantly had to be the 4.8i that gave me the big smile. So after looking around for a while I found this:

Got me some LED angel eyes orderd and so keen on a cat back exhaust upgrade... But trying to hold back :D

Congratulations on the purchase, fantastic car! The X5 is such a nice car to be in whether your driving or not and seeing as you got the 4.8, driving would be a lot of fun! Nice colour combo as well, can't beat it!

I must admit, I drove plenty of the older style ones of these when I worked for the Skippers Club. Pretty awesome cars. You going to put some loud pipes on it?

These things sound unreal with a decent exhaust. I see one go past work pretty regularly, when he's accelerating its soooo rumbly. Love it!

Not many people know about it, but if anyone wants some quick cash on thur/fri/sat/sun evenings, it's an **ok** place to work. I hear the pay rates have plummited though, and they are a dodgy mob.

But I got to drive some fucking sweet cars there. Sometimes there's the occasional pleb with a fairmont or something gay, but was usually BMW's, Mercs, Audis, Porsches... Was pretty neat for a uni job. /csb

Got a quote on some cat back only exhausts and price is from 2.5k to 3.5k Will be looking on ebay see what comes up, No rush for exhaust as im going on holiday overseas soon and marriage expenses that are coming up will be enough to make the wallet abit lighter for a little while lol

LOL! I love the way it looks wont touch nothing on it other than exhaust probs. I was keen to get the 20" Optional X5 wheels but if I get that I need the extended guards and apparently I will need to get suspension adjusted for it too. Too much messing around its a great car as is.

Keen for a drive just after sun set tbh then the angel eyes will be looking at there best!

As said mate, top car. Keep the 19's - spray them gloss black and done. Angry as fuck.
I hear for a 4wd they handle quite well and with 350hp+ behind it definitely get the big girl moving!

Handeling on it is amazing I couldnt belive how well it goes around corners and how fast it picks up speed for a what 2.5T SUV!

Taking the wheels to a panel beater and getting Gloss Black is also on the mind too!
