i know this may sound randim and thats why im asking because i have no idea myself as to weather it has or can be done. Dose anyone know of a ca18det being put into an et pulsar, and if so how much would be expecting to pay. thanks.

mate the best answer is unless you have a heap of time and money, dont bother. decent results can be had out of the standard engine (they are pulling 11s over east), so why bother making custom engine mounts and driveshafts etc...
youre best bet is to check out n12turbo.com, the yahoo e15et groups (I know of at least one guy with CA18DET here), or the n12 section on nissanexa.com. the antilag guys here only know about sr20s and rb25s heheh :flipa:
have you actually got an ET? If ya interested, we might be having another ET meet towards the end of the month, come along! Last one we had at burswood had about 10 cars, all modded to varying degrees. will give you some ideas for sure.
let me know if ya interested 0431-747-390 or pm.

thanks man yer i just wanted to know weather it was worth it but obviously not, yer i own an et but i dont get my licence until october so im just modding it for now but ill deffinately be along for some et meets when im on the road. i go on n12turbo alot and didnt see any trace of someone putting a ca into there car so i thought it must be either really expensive or impossible, im happy to stick with the e15et.
thanks for info man and post up when some et meets are on because my mate can always drive my car down, would like to check out the scene

hmm we get more ETs at our ET meets than through the pga meets. the most I have seen on a pga meet is 2, and one of them was mine. lots of n14s, 15s tho.
as for the ca18det, check out the readers cars (mine is in there :) at http://www.n12turbo.com/cars/et.htm
and note half way down on the right, "Travis's CA18DET powered GL Pulsar". the link appears to be broken, but there are pictures around somewhere. maybe if you email dave - the admin of n12turbo.com (dave@n12turbo.com), he can tell you the guys's email address and you can fire off an email in his direction for more info.
hope to see you at a meet soon ;) Ill keep u posted!
