Hai guys!

So i managed to find a copy of CS5 extended on my computer, trouble is that the Serial number i originally entered after a week or so "appears invalid". Now my problem is, i must have misplaced my serial number and now i need another one to make it work again :( Or are there any ways around this?

Definately no photographer but have used it to spruce up those one or two pics i liked the look of :)

Any help? :)

You need to disable the Adobe dial home function otherwise it will nerf your serial key as soon as you launch the app.

Add the line 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com to your system32\drivers\etc\hosts file.

Help little old me figure out exactly how to do this. You'll have to speak slowly, im not foreign...just mildly retarded. Prease? lol

P.S. Kimmm the serials didnt work, guessin different between mac/windows.

The hosts file doesn't have an extension so it looks like a blank/dud file. Open it with notepad, copy the line in and save it. Just make sure there's no hash # in front of the new line you added or it won't be parsed.

I can source a serial or thirty when I get home from work in a couple of hours if needed...

I was gonna say, when I 'purcahsed' Lightroom for my new PC it had a program that patched host file automatically and generated keys for any Adobe product.
PM if it's required and I'll direct you to the place I acquired it.
