Acl rebuild kit Abd Trd head gasket

I'm about to rebuild my 4age and am wondering what peoples thoughts are on acl rebuild kits which include pistons, rings and bearings, I'll also be needing a regrind kit and a full gasket kit.

I'm also looking for a 0.8mm Trd head gasket, where can I buy one from locally ?

Veales are ACL agents, Veales Kelmscott are pretty good. Manager is on here.
TRD head gaske, could either source through toyota. Or go through someone like WTF.

Thanks for that, I was mainly concerned with acl quality, I'm rebuilding the engine and will be bumping up the compression so I'm just wondering if the acl kit good enough

I havent heard good stories about their pistons, but bearings and rest of kit is perfectly fine

Ok what pistons should I buy, I'm on a little big of a budget, I don't really want forged pistons as I'm not planning on turbo charging it, it's still going to be my daily with a tuned safc and bumped up compression

trd gasket cant be had for much less than about 120 bucks... better off finding one online..

yeah 120 is the price im seeing, any idea on pistons im not keen on forgies in a daily

price up some 100kw pistons from toyota...they might not be that much!

I think ive heard that the acl pistons themselves are good. But there are cases where the rings have failed. So maybe get them and buy a better set of rings for re assurance. Tomei also do piston kits for a 4age if you wanna pay some $$$

ACL rebuild kits may be out of the Question now ACL pistons have gone under from my knowledge, only bearings and gaskets now avail....anything out there is just left over stock.

bearings and gaskets can be sold seperate but yeh no kits :?
