we popped down to the freo harbour after work today

this is just for a bit of a laugh but I'm going to post my best 5 with the iphone and he can post his best 5 taken with the DSLR and I can chop him in a vote :)

Not very good with the digital SLR's as I used to be with the film SLR's. Think anyone with a fkn camera phone would be able to chop me these days ;) Though the last one isn't all that bad...

What's with how the antilag windscreen banner turned out in the iPhone 4 pics? Some of the cars in the background turned out the same. O_o

my fav is the 2nd DSLR pic. Mostly because of how the roof and boot look in the light.

Meh, I only shoot RAW so i can shop the fuck out of it.

But in all seriousness. Dickhead post. Most photographers can't use photoshop correctly either. Halo's like a mad dog, push saturation so far it looks like a cartoon, incorrect colours.

Can't photoshop composition
Can't photoshop Bokeh, not silky bokeh anyways.

He is using HDR mode an hasn't got a steady enough hand so when the 3 photos overlay they don't match up 100% need iPhone tripod haha

But being able just to whip your phone out whenever and can snap a decent pic is a great thing to have

hahaha like I said lots of caffeine tablets (I cant have food or drink in the sterile area so I resort to water and tablets)

I am pretty amazed at how good the iphone was though! If only I could photoshop out my bumper gap...

Chris would have had an epic shot of the chaser with a container ship in the background (boat with a boat) but the DSLR overexposed...

photochop is a great skill and some do it very well but personally i appreciate those who shoot without relying on post production wizardry with a computer to make the image better...we live in the digital age and darkrooms are a thing of the past and i could be just an angry old pingpingpingping :P
