My brother is interested in this car, wondering if anyone knows the owner or anything about the cars history.

Also if the current mods are likely to be a time bomb or have any issues

Noticed the K's listed are different on both ads, one says 85k and the other 67k

To be very clear I'm not suggesting there is anything wrong with this car or the owner, only inquiring :)

otherwise what should he be looking out for when he has a look ? common problems and the sort...

Car looks awesome and has everything you want to make it more fun, My05 STi is most sort after as well. Only downside will be the AL hate your brother will receive. It's got sub 100k Kms on it and 300+ horsepowers. Buy it.

From what I know, this is a great car.. well looked after, original, no accidents or anything.

Then why is there so many shitters with nothing more than a paint job and 20 inch China wheels on show?

Its ironic to think the scene Aussie V8 guys used to bag now drives their scene with such force.

This entire new generation mostly does this to their cars

Big chrome wheels - salon rice inspired
Airbags - salon rice inspired
Over the top paint jobs - salon rice inspired
Airbrushing - salon rice inspired
Graphics - salon rice inspired

So buy Japanese and say no to rice!

I have never ever seen an airbrushed WRX at motorvation.

Or one on chromies actually - happy to be proven wrong.

Being a bit of a dak dak noob, can someone please explain in a bit more depth why only the 05 sti is the way to go??

the 2.5's are no good?

TJ

Last of the 2l ej207's

They went 2.5 ej257 the year after

Screw boost into them - they flex bores. Pretty much any decent power needs a rebuild to cope with it. Huge power needs big dollar builds.

207 - screw in boost, add a tune, enjoy.

Add 6 speed, brembos and its a decent thing.

Hard Parkers do a good job at cleaning up a vast majority of driving events however. EVERY YEAR.

OP, that's a good dak dak with the right fruit.

Living in the Northern Suburbs all I hear is that beauitful auto alloytech drone.

Its like a rule if your under 25 and have a commodore you have to put an exhuast and chop springs and put moto stickers on the back.

Driving and doing skids not same though. I saw more commodores dumped on heavy china wheels smoking clutch than smoking tyres this year.

I'm gonna enter MV next year.. If anyone says any shit about my dak dak, I will smash a stubbie in their face.

If I can't drive a bogan car, I can still act like a bogan.

p.s. You mad.
