<strike>Price drop to $5500</strike>
Price now $4000

I've owned this car almost 2 years (which is a big deal for me given I've had 14+ cars in 7 years) and it has been a great car to own. It does lack outrigh power given it has a 2L 6cyl but it has an awesome chassis, is manual and made a very good economical daily.
<strike>It has come time to sell because I work away and am only ever home 4-5 days, have moved to a smaller house and have upgraded to an E46 330ci. I've held onto it for 3 months since buying the E46 but it really doesn't make sense to have so many cars as daily drivers.</strike>
Even the E46 has now been replaced by the XR6T as the new daily so this car REALLY has to be sold soon, makes no sense to hold onto it

Since buying this car I have replaced
the air flow meter with a brand new one (~ 1 year old)
the alternator with a refurbished one (looks brand new, ~1 year old)
the water pump (brand new ~1 year old)
rad overflow tank (brand new ~1 year old)
new battery (~2 months old)
new window switched and glass slides

and installed
Bilstein front suspension
rear strut brace
alpine 9855R headunit with iPod connection
Peerless HDS 6.5" front splits
M3 front bar
M3 rear diffuser
aftermarket headlights with angel eyes
16" rims
brand new tint all round with 35% fronts and 22% rear

I'm sure I have forgotten some things

the bad points
- the leather, mostly on the driver seat is very worn. You can get various retrim kits off ebay but it is something that could do with improving
-I never really got around to finishing the cars paint job, the clear needed a cut back and could do with a final coat but I was not happy with the quality of the paint and it crazed in some area's. I planned on doing a respray but my time off is short and my new place isn't really suitable
-the front bar is fiberglass and the fit isn't great, depending on interest I will probably put a plastic one on that mounts as per factory slides or adjust the price. New plastic M3 ones are ~ $300, stupidly I threw out the original grey plastic bumper

This car has done ~245 000km's, and is backed by BMW quality

I have used fully synthetic oil since I've had it and changed oil every 5000km's, flushed the coolant twice and put in platinum plugs. injectors were cleaned about 4 months ago
