DRIVING STANDARDS

Accidents can happen, and we're all varying levels of driver skill but if you're inclined to deliberately push other cars off the tarmac (through corners, 'pit' manoeuvres down the straight, neglect to use the brake etc) then you're not welcome.

CONNECTION ISSUES

If you have had problems racing online previously then I'd strongly suggest configuring your PS3 network and router settings. Even if you're connection is for the most part stable, it's still a good idea to apply these measures. They will improve network stability for all your PS3 online games.

Step 1 : Set your PS3 to a static IP address using the following step-by-step guide.
http://portforward.com/networking/staticip-ps3-playstation-3.htm

Step 2 : Configure your router to forward the appropriate ports to the PS3 static IP address.
- Select your router from the list on this page...
http://portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm
- 'Click here to skip this advertisement...' in the top right hand corner of the screen.
- Select 'PlayStation Network' from the list
- Follow the on screen instructions to configure your router

Once you've applied the settings to your router perform an internet connection test from the PS3 Network Settings menu. If you've done everything correctly your Nat Type will be Type 2 - which is good. If you're getting 'Type 3' then go back and make sure you've configured your PS3 and router as per the guides.

In are we doing the additional modded car this week or will we start that next week?

Was thinking a car most people would have already BNR34 N1?

We'll be sticking to cars on the recommended list this week.

There is a game update patch due tomorrow sometime which is rumoured to include some online tweaks including things like the 'performance points' system like in GT5 Prologue. I'm hoping (although probably unlikely) for car sharing in online races too. This would allow setting up races with eligible cars much simpler and open the whole range of 1000+ cars to choose from.

In :)

If anyone is bored before 8:30 just come into my lounge for a bit of fun tracks like top gear/tuskuba with open garage so just burnouts drags drifting etc.

like a cowboy in a whore house. I'll be there.

Got a headset to try out, so if you hear someone laughing/screaming during the game. that be me.

Unless your in the angry pack? Fun runs tonight indeed! People should start making a car to suit a hp/weight class and test them out next week! Production car only etc etc...

Fuckkk who was miggy147? pingpingpingping punted me off so many times.

Hadn't played for a week or two so took a race or so to get back in to the game, managed to hold 1st for a bit in a couple races until I made that one little fuck-up that sent me to the back of the pack FML. :P

See you guys next week, may have to sort out a headset - takes far too long to type shit on the PS3.

I'm competing at the Motorplex RallySprint event this Thursday evening so if you guys still want to get together this week somebody needs to put their hand up to host/co-ordinate.
