Was at the games. Dockers were alright, some stupid plays but its the NAB cup. Means fuck all. If the wins get the Eagles motivation up than so be it, good luck to them.

If that's not the case - the day after Grand Final day every year you would be telling every Premiership sides' supporters to STFU because the win was 'in the past' and now it doesn't mean shit...

I love the banter between Dockers and Eagles supporters, I find it hillarious (being a strong Eagles supporter myself). But it really is stupid when Dockers supporters say 'quit living in the past'. We're not living in the past, we're just highlighting the fact that the WCE have had a lot of success in their short history, while the Dockers have achieved fuck all lol...

Dockers supporters have one good season and feel as though they have conquered the world - but really they haven't done shit. Another failed finals campaign.

Either way - I was happy for the Dockers to fly the WA flag last year in the finals - one WA team is better than none. But I'm not gonna sit around and listen to the supporters carry on about how awesome they are and how shit the Eagles are.

Then again - as soon as the Eagles get ahead of the Dockers on the ladder I will be jumping down every Freo supporters throat telling them how shit they are and they are back where they belong :) its all in good spirit haha.

I'll be watching the Saints, Bombers and Lions on Friday at Etihad, mainly because I haven't watched a game over east and it's something to do to kill time before we venture out. Should be good for a bit of fun..

Eagles played an intense brand of footy yesterday which I was happy with, Dockers were really struggling to burst out of the back line there for a while, WCE just kept lots of pressure on, plenty of tackles, was an encouraging sign, though I don't take a lot from it. I think it will be a good 3-4 years at least of re-grouping and recruiting before we are a serious finals contender again.
