What is needed apart from t3 adapter?
Do oil water lines match up?
Simple as bolt in?

no idea WTF you'd bother, t28 will support about the same power

do not do it, the fact that its a ceramic turbo is enough as it is and yes a T28 will make the same power and be far more reliable because the exhaust wheel is steel, not ceramic

its a completely different turbo, not made by garrett, you will need different oil and water lines, different dump piping, custom intercooler piping made up, pretty much everything!

it will cost u less to bolt in a brand new 2871r which is a direct replacement and will make MUCH more power

I had a t3 on mine but am going back to t28. T3 was also a bit of a tight fit and touched the motor holding it from tightening completely on the manifold.

oil lines are different and front snout will be different so some pipe work will be required.

Cheaper and easier to get a t28.
