boost controller recommendation!?!

i had a basic turbosmart manual bleed valve in my legnum, held ~14psi no worries.
a decent cat back + cat will make a world of difference. the front pipes are supposed to help quite a bit with low down torque, i never tried them as jap ones are pricey, and local ones are made by RPW *shudder*

That doesn't look like a nardi steering wheel??

mitchy

the little emblem on the right says it is, factory nardi or momo steering wheels in the VR4's.

Greddy profec b spec 2 would be a good boost controller

i've always liked these and the wagons too, what's it' like for room, compared to say a magna etc?

mitchy

pretty much identical to a magna in terms of space Trav. (as far as the wagon/legnum goes)

I have this in my '01 Legnum - very good.

I met you on the cruise saturday night, usual mods to do are 3" turboback exhaust (or as close to as you can get it), EBC, FMIC (Greddy or X3E Motorsports does the trick, I run the latter) and an uprated fuel pump is a good start.

And get rid of that horrible plastic wood grain! :P

Either way nice ride and genuine Vogue kit is VERY rare.

Where did you pick this up from?

as mitchy has already said, boost, cat back and a decent clutch. Will take plenty of abuse ( limiter launches :) ). best bov to put on one of these is the metal ones from the Evo 8 MR as they dont make any noise and the plastic ones are known to leak over time. I personally wouldnt bother with doing a front mount as the standard one is fine with the small snails.

Can always go visit Sean at Allstar, when i had my legnum they sucked the tune out of it and found out that the standard ECU is flashable.

Never been in a magna before, but its very spacious, quite similar in size as my euro accord.

Embleton Motors.

Well there was a white jzx100 on carsales that i wanted, but the person never picked up, waited a couple of days to see any response, but still none. Went to embleton motor just to check out a silver manual galant, then saw this black one hidden at the back, and wanted it straight away.

Next in line is RPW Dump pipe.

Just so you know RPW front pipes DO NOT bolt straight up and WILL require modifications to fit ;)

Kermit (Kermit Engineering, he works out of his house in Wanneroo ATM) has fitted mine and another set on another Legnum. Not his favourite "off the shelf" exhaust part but he does a good job.

Okay, so I got my GFB Response installed by Beyond Custom. Its set on full atmosphere at the moment. Car starts fine, idles fine. Love the sound, but when i drive it and hit boost, it feels slower then before. I'm quite noob, is it because of the settings? Do I need a tune?

One awesome ride

I always see these cars in front of baywater dealership

VIP version of the GTO

was reading up in HPI magazine that dump pipe is the key important for power gain in the VR4.

AWD in the rain will kill any chaser :)
